DAVID ROCHKIND , FOUNDER/CREATIVE DIRECTOR
David spent a decade working as a photojournalist, covering issues around the world for outlets like The New York Times, TIME Magazine and The Pulitzer Center on Crisis Reporting. He founded Ground Media with the goal of using storytelling to leverage impact and motivate action for brands and organizations working to make a difference. He has led projects for non-profits, development organizations and Fortune 500 companies all around the world.
CAROLYN BARNWELL, EXECUTIVE PRODUCER
Carolyn specializes in working with mission-driven organizations to communicate their work to general audiences. She previously worked at National Geographic, where she produced short-form videos and television shows, and worked on advocacy campaigns for organizations like the World Bank and the TED prize. Carolyn also wrote, produced and edited Nat Geo’s first-ever digital series showcasing scientists and explorers’ fieldwork.
DANIEL TURNER / PRODUCER
Daniel takes a documentary narrative approach to film, looking to emphasize the human aspect, and emotional impact, in advocacy and issue videos. He has a particular expertise in environmental issues, and in translating scientific understanding into captivating stories that can reach and engage broad audiences. He has produced projects all around the world, from atop volcanoes in Indonesia to eighty feet underwater at the first offshore wind farm in the United States.
