Behavior Change Communications During COVID-19

Spurred by a call from the United Nations, we partnered with a combination of national non-profits, grassroots organizations, State legislators and the Harvard School of Public Health on a public health communications campaign to promote safe behavior during the outset of the COVID-19 pandemic. By combining user-generated content with original animation we were able to help engage over 1 million people in the first 3 weeks of the campaign.

A CAMPAIGN UNDER LOCKDOWN

This PSA leveraged User Generated Content to tell the story of how a State Legislator in Michigan- one of the first COVID hotspots in the US – was practicing social distancing throughout the birth of his second child and encouraging others to help to keep their communities safe.

ANIMATED EXPLAINERS

Animated explainer videos are one of the best tools we have to communicate important public health messages in a clear and engaging way. We worked remotely during “lockdown” with Share Our Strength and the Harvard School of Public Health to produce animated explainers on how to stay safe and healthy.

BACK TO WORK

As communities across the country began to reopen their economies, we partnered with the Harvard Chan School of Public Health on an explainer video to help workers return to their offices. The video explained safe and healthy elevator etiquette and paired with an Op-Ed piece on the same topic that was placed in USA Today.
