Using Tech For Government Transparency

The Lincoln Network and the OpenGov Foundation asked us to help them recognize members of congress who are using technology to make our government more efficient and transparent. We worked with them on a video series to help promote The Doorstop Awards, an annual ceremony they hold in Washington, D.C.

We created a flexible concept that worked within the unpredictable schedules of members of Congress. Each video highlights a single Congressional leader, their technology initiative and a policy achievement.

Rep. Will Hurd is a pragmatic man who studied computer science, worked for the CIA, and worked in the private sector in cybersecurity. During his time as a member of congress, he worked to advance innovation within the U.S. House of Representatives, most notably through the drafting of the Modernizing Government Technology Act.
